At BANG! Music, we don’t just sell instruments; we have helped build a community of musicians since 1997. Whether you are looking to jam with others, watch a student recital, or find the best open mic night in town, this is your hub for local music.

In-Store Events

The “Old Guy Jam”: A teacher-led acoustic jam session for musicians of a “certain vintage” (and spirit!)
Dust off your acoustic guitar and join us for a relaxed, guided jam session right here at the store! We focus on the classic hits you know and love: Rock, Blues, Country, and Folk from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Who is this for?: This is a “no showboating” zone! If you can play basic first-position chords (open chords), you are ready to join. It is perfect for hobbyists who want to play with others in a fun, low-stress environment.
What do we play?: We work from a massive 250-page songbook (included with your sign-up) so everyone is always on the same page. Attendees are also encouraged to bring in songs for the group!
When is it?: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.

Rates & Registration
First Month: $50 (Includes your personal copy of the 250-page songbook).
Ongoing: $40 per month.

Student Recitals: We are proud of our students! From time to time, our instructors host recitals to showcase the hard work of our guitar, piano, drum, and vocal students.
