Chris Cepulis – $25 per lesson

Chris started playing guitar at the age of nine. She picked up her sister’s guitar and a songbook, figured out some chords, and she’s been playing ever since. It was the lessons she shared with her twin brother, however, that were invaluable to her development as a musician. In college, she started using her guitar for her real passion: leading worship. She graduated Penn State with a degree in Secondary Education. She’s been a worship leader and a youth band leader on and off for longer than she’d like to admit. Currently, she is Worship Ministries Director at Stafford Crossing Community Church in southern Stafford County. She loves and plays all types of music and believes in the importance of knowing music basics. Chris teaches beginners.
Dan Davis – $30 per lesson

Dan is a well-experienced instructor with a passion for learning, performing and teaching music. He enjoys students who want to learn how to play guitar, bass or ukulele and in whom he can inspire and nurture the love of music by passing it along to others. While Dan has advanced education in humanities disciplines, he is mostly self-educated in music. It’s a lifelong learning experience of more than 40 years that has led him to perform in local pop, rock, country and jazz groups and to teach music as a way to share his inspiration, gifts and talents. Dan teaches a variety of styles to students of all ages.
Larissa Hardin – $30 per lesson

Larissa has been playing clarinet for 13 years and saxophone for 4. She has a bachelor’s in Music Education from WVU and has been teaching in Prince William County for the past two years. She has studied under the direction of former students of the famous clarinetists Stanley Drucker and Robert Marcellus. She has experience in the concert band, orchestra, and chamber music settings as well as playing in world music ensembles such as Brazilian music and steel pans.
David Kitchen – $30 per lesson

David is a singer-songwriter from the DC area where he has maintained an active performance schedule for 25 years. His peers in the Washington Area Music Association have consistently recognized his achievements with several nominations and awards. He emphasizes song structure, practical music theory and vocal accompaniment.
Lisa Lim – $30 per lesson

Lisa Lim is a three time WAMA (Washington Area Music Association) award winning multi-instrumentalist,
performer, clinician, music educator and songwriter! Lisa offers guitar lessons, acoustic/electric, all styles and levels. Beginner to intermediate lessons on keys/ piano, mandolin, electric bass guitar, and tenor ukulele. She also offers lessons in music theory, performance and songwriting. Lisa has toured and performed extensively throughout the U.S. for the past two decades. She is a faculty member of National Guitar Workshop and writes occasional instructional columns for various national music publications. In 2015, Lisa was one of top five finalists in Truefire’s Next Top Guitar Instructor Competition. Bruce Middle – $30 per lesson

Bruce is an educator, composer, performing and recording artist with over 25 years in the industry. He teaches beginners through advanced (ages 10-adult) in all styles.

Bruce is currently Professor of Guitar at The University of Mary Washington, and is an 11 time WAMMIE (Washington Area Music Award) nominee.
Brett Minard – $30 per lesson

Brett has taught privately for nine years. He has been involved in the DC punk rock community, worked with local praise and worship bands, and toured across the country in several rock bands. He recently taught the 2018 spring semester guitar class at Mountain View High School. He currently plays in VaMos, an indie rock band in the Fredericksburg area, and co-directs the Bang! Music Rockademia program.
Jon Wiley – $28 per lesson

Jon Wiley is a graduate of the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Technology and Sound Recording. He has studied with an eclectic group of musicians such as Ken Karsh (Jimmy McGriff, Jack McDuff), Fredericksburg’s own Dave Cleveland, and Roberson’s own Rik Lawhorne. He has experience performing in a multitude of different styles including Jazz, Fusion, Blues, Rock, and Country music, playing with groups such as My Cardboard Spaceship Adventure and opening for Three Dog Night. He formerly served as a worship leader for Duquesne’s Crossroads Christian Fellowship and can be seen performing throughout the region with local groups including the popular Washington DC band Melodime and the Joe Vex Band.
